Our 8oz paper cups are lined with PE/PLA, which is oil-resistant, durable, and recyclable. We also offer custom paper cups for other applications.
What's the difference between 8oz paper cup single and double wall
The difference between single-wall and double-wall 8 oz paper cups lies in their structure, insulation, and price, as follows:
- Single-wall: Features a single layer of coating on the inside of the cup, making it waterproof, thin, and inexpensive. Suitable for cold drinks and short-term hot drinks, commonly used in offices, banks, and events.
- Double-wall: Consists of two layers of paper or an outer sleeve, making it more durable and providing better insulation. Suitable for hot beverages such as milk tea, and commonly used in coffee shops.
How to select the best 8oz paper cup with lid
When choosing a lid for an 8-ounce paper cup, you need to match the cup’s rim diameter (75-80mm) and consider whether your beverage is hot or cold.
The most common 8-ounce paper cups use D80 lids to ensure a tight, leak-proof fit.
- Hot drink lids: Feature a twist-on/off mechanism, suitable for coffee or milk tea, offering good insulation. Made of PP material, you can shake the cup without spills.
- Cold drink lids: Flat-top or spill-proof lids, made of PET material, allowing you to see the beverage clearly and providing good sealing performance.

How we pacakging 8 ounce paper cups
Before shipping, we stack each 8-ounce paper cup upright and nested inside each other. This reinforces the entire package and makes it easier to handle and store.
- Inner packaging: Each bag contains 50 paper cups, sealed in a bubble wrap bag for dust protection and easy counting.
- Outer packaging: 20 bags per carton, totaling 20*50=1000 pieces. Cardboard reinforcements are added to the top and bottom of the carton to ensure stability during transport.
